Plate of Star Anise

Hello, ladies and gentlemen! I present to you, the 200 individual objects that make up this scene! This is my entry for the contest, Everyday Objects. I spent quite a bit of time on this scene, so critiques are very welcome. Also, the pods on the star anise are pretty high poly, I think there was something like 4 million quads making up this scene. Thanks for looking! This was rendered in Blender 2.73, using the built in Cycles rendering engine.
